It looks like you invite yourself. It's apparently open to anybody smart enough to read the forums and get the password. |

Yeah I tried that but it still comes up as password protected even after I enter the password - is it because I havnt actually finished a game yet now that ive returned? |

I sent out invites in 590 to the some of the active gangs. Once 600 has been going for a few days I'll send out some more. |

Whoever decided to start 546 and 592 before they were even half full without posting a note in the chat or forum for players who don't access these static wars every day screwed up.
I'm out of both, there is no point in playing where I have already wasted APs from inaction and starting position varies wildly from gang to gang depending on whether you're next to good players or absolutely nobody. |

Emails are sent out to your registered email accounts when games start. If you don't check your email, or registered with a bum account, it's your own fault if you missed the game start.

Also, only 300 AP have been accrued since both 546 and 592 started. If anyone has lost AP, it's because they didn't spend them when the first joined the game, and because of that, they stood little chance of winning anyway. Otherwise, I'm sure you can absorb the loss of some spare change

I'm not sure why I have to explain this since you already know it, but there are 3 decent courses of action in the early game when you run out of novices:
1) Recruit 2) Use Experienced Gang Members to attack 3) Save APs for next turn Obviously, choosing #3 leaves APs which could possibly be lost if multiple turns are missed. Saving APs at the beginning is an effective strategy, basically trading development for flexibility. Even without the lost APs, I'm pretty sure my chances of winning are as good as anyones. |
