I don't think were using SC test enough to test things! I think the round there should be a week, since it seems to end up being mass torps like in tournament.
Things to test: 1) Having maximum fed mineral distribution set to 10k per day for everyone. 2) Not having the 5% rule 3) Reducing the effectiveness of torps 4) Not allowing the #1 player to hit down, to discourage stagnancy Those are just a few ideas. Afterall SC test was made to test rule changes that might go in the main game. If we actually test stuff people might play it more and well get a good idea on whether what we are testing will work in the main game. Week long rounds would encourage people to play the odd round but maybe not all of them, and definitely reduce stagnancy |

i agree on these
1) Having maximum fed mineral distribution set to 10k per day for everyone. 2) Not having the 5% rule 3) Reducing the effectiveness of torps however not allowing a person to defend themselfs is silly... granted it would change the top alot but would be frustrating to no end for the poor soul on top. alternativly i suggest these as well 1. if a empire is on top NO transfer of minerals is allowed among the federation (this would stop double feeding) 2. chris and phill automatically win stars every round :P |

Yeah agreed it'd be unfair on the top, but it would make SC test more interesting even if applying it to the main game doesnt make sense. And yeah, no mineral transfer sounds good, double feeding is just a loophole through the rule change that was supposed to STOP gay tactics like that |
