Thread: Newb manual

I contacted new players this round and asked if they were getting instructions when they started. One has replied and said that he did not get any beginning instructions. Has something happened to the manual that was implemented?

Well I suggested a manual link numerous times ago.. It would certainly be a lot easier then scripting in that everybody gets a standard email as soon as they start up...

How bout it Peter? There are a lot of people willing to write one up.. We could just email it to you and you could put an ingame link up....

:)

once upon a time I ran an educational fed that would teach some basic/intermediate stuff. I think that's the best way really, if any experienced players wanted to go and do that.

Its already being done by a number of people dood.. it doesnt solve the problem though because most new people spend their first 500 aps and never come back.. They dont spend enough time hanging around to get into a fed.....

I stayed too, but not because it was easy to figure out, nor because everyone was overly helpful to a nOoB...im just thick headed thatta way. About half of the plit games ( i think) have manual links. Why not SC?
