Your wrestler's health is measured in two ways: vital life (VL) and consciousness.

Consciousness is your wrestler's stamina for each match. The more damage you take in a match, the more consciousness you lose, until you get knocked out. The game automatically heals your consciousness before each match by using your AP.

Vital life reflects the actual health of your wrestler. You lose at least one VL every match. Lost VL is not automatically healed by the game before you start a new match; you have to go to hospital to do that.

Vital life plays a factor in how well your wrestler fights. The less VL he has, the more hurt he is. If your wrestler isn't healthy, you'll get messages in your matches saying "(Your wrestler) looks a little off today" or "(Your wrestler) looks like he should be in a hospital not in the ring."

Your wrestler dies once your VL goes down to zero. When that happens, the only thing you can do is to detach and create a new VOW account.
