A number of female wrestlers on here have been subject to unwelcome attention from other players. It is one thing for someone to send a friendly pm, another entirely when they are bombarding someone with sexually explicit, degrading and troubling messages.
The obvious route is to take a snapshot and inform the main mods, what if having done that a repeat offender only receives a chat ban, leaving 'him' able to still harass? Having read a number of these messages to others I have to say personally I think the perpetrator should be banned entirely from the game. To not do so, in my opinion, is endorsing 'his' right to harass and not defending the rights of the victimised player. Apart from the above I feel allowing the player on to continually verbally abuse another player in this hidden fashion, could bring VOW itself into disrepute. Discuss... |

This appears to be primarly an issue on Battle of Stamina - and certain 'players' seem to think they can get away with saying whatever they like on there.
A chat ban for this type of player just doesn't cut it - as it still leaves them free to use the PM system! If this was happening on VOW (as has happened in the past) the Mods would, I believe, be a lot quicker to clamp down on it. Aggressive Sexual Harrasment of players should not be tolerated! Come on Mods .. do your jobs!!! |

Oh, it's definitly wrong ... and since the VOW servers are located in the Netherlands ... it's illegal too.

They need to stop ignoring it, effectively they are condoning. They should be as quick as they are in banning people on chat. |

Bingo Lady G. You can get chat banned faster than you can sneeze half the time. And yet even if you follow all the instructions to their little email contact area, not jack squat happens.
Like I said before in my other thread, if you want people to apologise and kiss your butts to get just their "Chat Privalages" back, than how about handling the REAL problems with the same kind of effort. |
