How many did you go against? And how many were left? And was that their only block?

Change your retreat level to 10 and hit it again with enough men to wipe them. With retreat below 10 you will run from a fight you could winfor just a few more casualties - you all ready took a load of hits but have walked away with nothing.

Regardless, I'd say you are up the creek. You have started a war too early in the game and lost tonnes of men doing it.

There are only a few options open to you, as I figure it.
1) follow Raving Druids advice.
2) Hope they are inactive or don't retaliate so you can focus on gaining uncontrolled res blocks.
3) Send them a message outlining your "mistake" begging forgivness and offering your best ho. Then go to option #2... or #1 if you like ;-)

Q: "how do you control a block?"

A: Click Control Block and enter the coordinates of the block you want to take over.

Q: "But it keeps saying 'You do NOT control a connecting block'"

A: You cannot control blocks that are not connected to your turf. if you don't know where your turf is, click "Show Map". Your blocks are green. Your enemies blocks are red. Your allies blocks are blue. Blocks that are white are uncontrolled.
