This is crazy and will probably be booed and hissed by at least one person. It may not even be feasable for game play or programming or natural phillosophy or whatever. It's just an idea.

What if..no matter how high someone got you could strike them. Call it a long rang/long chance shot and make it cost extra AP, maybe proportional to the score difference.

I understand that the only chance this attack would have of succeeding would be the 5% rule. I also understand that, 95% of the time, you would just be pushing the leader farther up the board.

However, it would give a sence of hope to the underdogs in those rounds where the leader is several million points above everyone else on the last day.

That's my two galactic credits...I'll now open the floor for comment.

I think once upon a time this was possible. And the top people found it extremely annoying. So it is no more. That 5% is just too much if you're going to allow that sort of thing.

That's what I figured too but I figured an idea is useless if you leave it in your head so I threw it out to be chewed up, dissected, and inspected.

good move dalv, but as kubala expressed..this was once a game problem..in notors ear;y rounds we had 1million fed fiters and every1 in fed was 16mill or more..but people sat at 500k score and fired 200fiters allnite long chewing thru 200k fed fiters and winning millions of mins they didnt deserve..so it was scrapped
