Thread: Some Moves Worth Adding (At Least I Think So...)

Damascus head-leglock: The attacker forces the opponent to the ground and opens up the legs of the opponent, stepping in with both legs. The attacker then wraps his legs around the head of the opponent and crosses the opponent's legs, applying pressure on them with his hands. The attacker next turns 180 degrees and and leans back, compressing the spine. This hold applies pressure on the temples, the calves, and compresses the spine. Also known as the D-lock for the capital D formed.

Indian deathlock: The victim is on his back. The attacker folds his opponent's legs over each other as if putting him in an "Indian sitting" posture, then places his own knee on top of the victim's shins and puts his weight on them.

Texas cloverleaf: The wrestler stands at the feet of his supine opponent, grabs the victim's legs and lifts them up. He then bends one leg so that the shin is behind the knee of the straight leg and places the ankle of the straight leg in his armpit. With the same arm, he reaches around the ankle and through the opening formed by the legs, and locks his hands together. He then steps over his opponent, turning the victim over as in a sharpshooter. Finally, the wrestler squats and leans back, similarly to a boston crab. The hold compresses the legs, flexes the spine, and stretches the abdomen.

Fireman's carry: The victim is draped face-down across the wrestler's shoulders, with the wrestler's arms wrapped around from behind.

how does adding four moves make a "wide variety of moves"? It seems that it's wide enough to me...

No Wonder VOW is going nowhere..
Players think of good ideas and Peter just shoots them down..

It's not about just 4 moves. There are more moves, these are just 4 suggestions. There are a lot more moves that I can think of. I'm not here to just retire, I'm here for interesting/fun matches.

I Sent An Idea To Peter About Have Wrestling-Style Specific Moves And He Shot It Down Immediatly. Hick Bob Said He Would Talk To Him But Nothing There. I Also Sent A Site With Almost 1000 Diffrent Moves And About 10 Variations Of Moves Arleady Existant But Again, Shot Down. Personally, Im Getting Bored. Mabey Some Special-Only Moves WOuld Be Cool Too.

Nice Use Of Continious Capitals :) Why?? There Is No Point In Doing So And It Doesn't Add Emphasis On Your Post. :)

Adding moves will overthrow the whole system. People will retire later for one. And it's already late enough right now...

VOW does have a load of problems in content and stuff, but when i made my first account "Ryko Skylynx" then it only had 2 match types (Single and Cage). It was kinda rubbish back then but it has improved, more match types, and also a couple more moves (The Rolling Germans for example).

Besides you can't add a load of moves to the list, for the simple reason it would overcrowd the server. Im not a staff member on the game but i know putting too much detail and data on the VOW server would cause it to crash often which would lead to all kinds of silliness.

Give them some slack!

i like the idea of moves that you buy and are instantly specials...tomestone piledriver, 619, rock bottom...just to name a few...

You know why vow is becoming boring for alot of people? Everyone is so wrapped up in being the best they forget that the enjoyment in the game is making your character your own, succeeding when struggling through the leagues and having a laugh with the people online. Even with KoVOW people had fun arguing with him.

Nowadays people all buy the same moves, try to improve their win count by noob bashing all the time (Lower experienced players, not neccessarily noobs), and get all in each others faces. The game never changed, the players changed to use a totally unoriginal quote :)

So I would say there is nothing wrong with the game its the attitude of people coming into it. I myself still find this game great, especially when I'm working inside an e-fed. Adds that extra dimension that the game lacks, the actual promos and acting side of wrestling.

People need to find their entertainment in the game rather than try and change it because they aren't happy with something.

And with that I'll stop thrusting my opinions down your throats and go back to fighting :)
