Two times today, and many times before I have been asked either on chat or in messages. 'Are you a mod?', 'Do you own the game?', etc...

It's not so hard to point them in the right direction, but I think that with seeing the use of underlines (RKM), that something like this should be utilized for the moderators.

Another suggestion, is that when a new player creates their account, then creates a VOW account. The first time they log in, they are brought to a page with information about mods, wikimanual, etc...

That way, when they ask about this stuff in chat or messages, it weeds out the ignorant from just the nice but confused newbies.

Moderators are now silent - so utilising the underline facilty to highlight them defeats the object of them being silent.

New players who ask questions are usually directed to the Wiki based manual anyway - but perhaps the link to this could be renamed to highlight it better. 'PLAYER's GUIDE' or some such thing?

If the new players want to actually learn how to play and not act like a stupid little noob(s), then they'll find the Wikimanual themselves.

There are far too many new players that don't even make an attempt to figure out anything on thier own, but there are going to be players like that no matter what you do. They usually don't last long anyway. That said, there is a lot of stuff on the left side of the screen and it can be easy for new players to get "lost".

I think it's a good idea to put the basic stuff that new players will need in bold letters. Changing the manual's name would be good too.

Since when are the mods silent? Just about everyone with half a brain cell knows most of them.

If people ask you if you own the game, reply with a similar stupid question, such as 'i am new how do i see myself fight' give them a taste of their own medicine.

Wouldn't that make the whole "anonymous mods" thingy irrelevant? Or something.

The Mods are the arch enemies of the Rockers! Think The Who, The Jam, Quadrophenia ...
