Sorry if this is the wrong board.... but here is my rant.
I am an experienced wrestler; tajiri_._tarantula on VOW, and can never seem to win many matches anymore. Just now I have had 3 matches, and have lost them all. I do all the normal things (use level 2 doctor, fight with full VL, etc etc), but never seem to win. I have 5100 experience, so am not fighting people out of my division. This is not a recent thing, it has happened over a few months. My win percentage was up around 60%, now has plummeted to 48% and it is really beginning to **** me off (sorry for language). I have 5 good special moves, own 112 of VOWs 154 moves, the type breakdown is (I am a stiff neck): 22/22 submission 44/51 strength 14/34 aerial 32/47 technique I have every pin, submission and high damage move there is, and my stats are at maximum... yet everybody seems to beat me now... and I don't know why. I don't want some noob who is going to dribble crap tht will be of no use... I would really like an expert at the game (who has managed to sit through all this), to genuinely help me, not provide me with some rubbish like (You're crap, face it) or (Why do we care?) - if you don't, save the effort and don't post. Any help will be greatly appreciated, and somebody who can tell me something which genuinely helps me to improve my win percentage and does work, will win a small cash donation fo their stable. Personally, I believe VOW is a game of luck. You say that you have all the sub and pin moves, so there is no shortage of "match enders". 3 losses in a row isn't really that much. If it was say 20 losses straight, then something would be wrong.
If you fight the legends (e.g. Fangblast), then you would be having to fight an uphill struggle as he has +5 damage bonus. Also, since a lot of people buy the most expensive moves first (these are usually the better moves) and have an advantage over someone who has a lot of low damage moves. Just fight some lower people and try to get a few wins under your belt before going to the bigger fish. |

Yeah, I really appreciate what you say LK... although it has not been a 3 match losing streak... that is what I am currently on... I have not really had any massive streaks, but it's been 1 win, 3 losses, 1 win, 2 losses... stuff like that.
Don't legends only get a +2 damage? |

he is a PG i think. And my worst was 11 losses in a row with KOVOW then i won 28 in a row so its just luck soon you will be owning everybody |

I really dont know how to help you taj... a winpct of 48% does seem a little low. Exept for your F4-special, all of your finishers seem to fit, and the moves make sense too.
Of course, I dont know who it is your fighting... if you keep facing a pumped up Bubba or Hick (or me :p ), it makes sense. If youīre fighting people within your exp range or lower, it is probably just really really bad luck... And no, Fangblast doesnt get +5 dmg. He gets +3 |

Tajiri, I am near your experience level if you are looking for some more people near you that you might have a better chance against (RVD420, 19748). Can't say I'm having your luck, but am willing to try and job to you ;)
Think my longest losing streak was 16 in the 3200 range of SSWO, but then broke it for an 11 win streak. Just may seem your losing alot for awhile but you'll rebound soon enough when you realise that half of the lower SSWOs(like 2001-4000 exp) are willing to fight upwards |

you know by specialising a sub move you don't increase its success rate :P
My advice is specialise the most damaging moves you can do or do what scorp did and specialise the weakest moves so they do more damage more often, whatever you like |

Tajiri, may I suggest going over your past matches and trying to see what's different. perhaps you may be fighting more fights against a style that isn't a suitable opponent, or something else may be drastically different. Not sure, but a little research into the past wouldn't hurt :)
Perhaps it's just a huge string of bad luck. In any case, good luck with it :) |

Tajiri i have been through this before myself, i have found, and this might be a total fluke, but, when this happens to me i challenge people i should have no chance of beating, then i drop back down and fight people of my own level, it seems to me constantly fighting people lower than you hurts your character some how, dont know if thats exactly true either. but try it what have you got to lose. |
