I'm sure Sakuraba would disagree with that.. quick lesson to all of you who have no idea of who he is.. he's a japanese pride fc fighter who deemed himself as "The Gracie Hunter" defeating all of the Gracies except for Rickson - however the Minotauro - Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira defeated Sakuraba. Besides that, Royce's Triangle Choke was never performed to perfection.. and he knew that.. his Triangle was mainly used for an armbar effect.. thus why he pulled on the opponents arm afterwards.. whereas the best thing you can do for a legit triangle is to trap the opponents head and left arm with your legs, the leg next to the head should wrap across and the leg just below the arm should be able to get the leg up slightly over the leg bent across the head, the foot and the back of the knee should be locked to properly apply it.. after that you grab onto the head of the attacker to apply even more pressure giving them a few seconds to either tap out or get choked out. |
