Each country has a captain or manager who selects a 3 man team for each match.

Matches will be one single and one tag team match (2v2).

For each match a wrestler fights for their country they win a cap like in football internationals. What an honor.

Three points for a win, one point for a draw and no points for a loss.

A record can be kept of the winning country from each season.

Countries fight each other twice, once at home (sending the challenges) and the other away (accepting the challenges).

There will be a deadline (end of season) when all challenges must have been made, if not then the home team loses. If the challenges are up but not accepted then there will be an extension. If challenges are not accepted after this extension then the away team loses. Something like that.

Would people be interested in this? It might work…Please comment and suggest some ideas.

An' ye can also make mergers :)

Like Great-Britain, or the British Isles. Or maybe Scotland-Ireland, or the United Federation of Malt Whiskey Drinkers.

problem,

I'm Belgian, but the Armenian Beast is from ...
erm ... what was it again?
some place in the fUSSR
it's on the tip of my tongue
Azerbaijan! yes, that's it!
so, do I take part as a Belgian or an Azeri?
cool idea btw, maybe the designers could add a "hailing from" to the wrestlers stats page ... and of course, there should be an option to pick "parts unknown"

Well I think you should choose. Either pick your own nationality, as do most since their wrestlers have no real identification with a specific nation or if your wrestler has a Home Country you could choose that. It's up to you.

Btw: wouldn't the Armenian Beast come from Armenia instead of Azerbaizjan?

not if he was a member of the Armenian ethnic minority, living in Azerbaijan. In that case, he could be both.

Some kind of revolution hero then...he might like that.

But it's unlikely he would defend the Azerbaizjan in international tournament :)

nah, the Beast is from Ejmiatsin, small town near the Armenian capitol.
and since he was too stupid to be able to point a rifle at the eeeeevil Azeri, he spent quite a few years in Chernobyl as a laborour
