As many have noticed my characters name is underlined in VOW. And questions have arised as to how i did that.
Peter is testing some new things and this is one of them, please post your feed back here. You cant do it yourself, it is something that only Peter can do for you. |

I think all donators should have their names underlined.
This will possibly reduce the incidence of new players mistakenly believing that it is ok to create multiple accounts whenever a donator mentions that they "have an alt" or are going to "switch to their alt". |

Agreed.
I've seen other games where the donators get little symbols next to their name to signify that they pay to keep the game running. Perhaps this should be something which comes into all the games here. |

It took 385 lines of code to make it possable to have a persons name underlined like mine, so it should be something that is utalized as stu has came up with, or a certain size donation to help VOW out.
The feed back I have been getting so far is that most people really like it. I do however like the idea of donators getting their names underlined for a variety of reasons. |

Donators for 3 months should get a bronze crown next to their name 6 months a silver crown next to their name 9 months a gold crown next to their name and over a year a platinum coloured crown next to their name ex donators should have a little hat or something next to their name
mods should have another little sign next to their name and legends should have a colour code next to their name as to how many times they have retired |

If it took 385 lines of code just to underline someones name, can you imagine how much code it would take for what your asking? lol
Peter has a regular job and a life, he cant be expected to use every waking moment to code thousands upon thousands line of code, not to mention the server space it would take. He is working on a few other things, just be patient. |

I'd assume that that would be too much pressure or something on the server? I'm with Catpain Stu(pid)endous on this one. All donators should have their names underlined. Or bold. Or Italiced (sp?). "mods should have another little sign next to their name" That kinda screws the whole "anonymous mods" thingy tho, doesn't it? Back on topic: Crowns - giving a bronze crown to someone who continually sends in 3 month donations over a period of 2-3 years (like myself), whereas someone who just started sends a 12 month donation... Big difference there. Mods - there are the visable mod accounts, so perhaps they could be given a new colour. Legends - something to help the LAWs see that the legends aren't big guys who hacked the game to fight them. |
