Explain this:
Now I hope some action gets taken because of this. Impersonation is illegal in some games, and I don't exactly want any noob impersonating me. I had this with LK, and now I get it with Gigaton. |

I can easily explain how the player made the name. It should be easy for Peter to get rid of that method for making names though. |

Gigaton Joe(14577) Strange, its a character that spaces but doesnt come up on the web page. I viewed the coding for both names when I searched for "Gigaton" and the fake had a double space (as seen above in this post)...dunno if that helps *edit* It's a space that doesnt show up when viewing it...or something :S because it was there before i posted but when i did it was a single |

Here's my personal opinion...
I dunno if there is (because I havent signed up since Oct 2003) but there needs to be a rule page describing rules..there probably is but a new rule should be added of: No impersonating/copying/cloning/duplicating,whatever you wanna call it, of any other wrestlers name. Then again there might have to be exceptions (WWE names and all them) but for names like Gigaton Joe, Coneman, KOVOW, Bubba Gump and all the others that had copies made, there should be rules. While I dont think it's that bad to have someone wanting to be like me, when they start telling people that it is actually me and that I detached my 3rd character, it pisses me off. And when they tell me that they want me to have their child...thats kinda scary. |

HTML splits multiple whitespace characters down to one space. For example, if you have A-three spaces and a tab and an enter-B it'll just come out as "A B".
This is a pretty easy thing to fix in Perl. Take the name and go $checkname = $name ~ s/ \t\r\n//g; then make it lower case $checkname = $checkname ~ tr/A-Z/a-z/; Then use that all-lower-case-no-whitespace name to check against others in the database. |

2 spaces in a name shows up at 1 space. search Gigaton Joe then Gigaton Joe again with 2 spaces "Gigaton Joe" it shows I know....

I don't think I have any problems with my name ever being copied as balls is/was on the filtered list of "bad" words. |

Add to the rules that the person who wants to be somewhat realted to your name must ask permission if it does happen. |
