VOW PREMIER LEAGUE
This is an ongoing tournament for the top wrestlers of VOW. The structure is similar to that of soccer’s English Premier League. HOW MANY WRESTLERS? Twenty wrestlers are lucky enough to join the exclusive club that is the VOW Premier League. They will be split into two divisions – the Premier League, and Division 1, both with 10 teams. MATCHES Matches will be fought twice a week (Round 1 between Wednesday and Saturday, Round 2 between Saturday and Wednesday). They are all singles matches, with Docs Only staff specifications. THE SEASON A season consists of 18 matches, you fight each wrestler ‘Home and Away’, although either can challenge. After this, the bottom two in the Premier League gets relegated, and the Top 2 in Division 1 get promoted. CUP COMPETITION After half of the season, a knockout cup competition will take place. The top 4 wrestlers in the Premier League get an automatic bye, while the other 16 go head-to-head. The knockout format continues until we have the one winner. WHO GETS WHAT DIVISION It is up to my discretion as to what league people go in, but the Top 10 who apply get in the Premier League, next 10 get Division 1. RELEGATION FOR DIVISION 1 Just before the conclusion of the season, 4 wrestlers compete in a round robin competition, the Top 2 goes into Division 1, and the two relegated wrestlers go into this competition. IN CASE OF RETIREMENT It would be appreciated if wrestlers did not retire mid-season, but if a wrestler decides to become a ‘Legend’, they must retire from the Premier League, the top-placed character from Division 1 gets promoted in their place, taking their points and filling their remaining fixtures. If a wrestler from Division 1 retires, a stand-by wrestler fills their place in Division 1. IN CASE OF CHEATING If extra staff is used or the match is not accepted, a victory shall be awarded to the other wrestler, and the wrestler in question shall be docked one point. POINT AWARDING Wrestlers who win the match receive 3 points; 0 points are awarded for a loss. PROPER MATCHES For a match to count, it must contain a notification that it is for VOW Premier League or Division 1 in the challenge message to count. SENDING RESULTS All match results must be sent to tajiri_._tarantula (11016) via in-game Message to count. Please send the name of the winner, and the consciousness damage done to both wrestlers. If match result is not received in time, both wrestlers receive no points. WHY THE CONSCIOUSNESS The consciousness damage is required to use as a ‘For-Against’ section to split the wrestlers. Please send this information in the message. HOW SHOULD THE MESSAGE READ Like this: Wrestler A wins Wrestler A took 47 con. Wrestler B took 76 con. This is all that there is to VOW Premier League. It promises to be challenging, competitive, even, and a refreshing change from the increasing number of e-feds. Hey, I like the idea, sounds cool. Obviously though im not in the top of vow so i cant join, but id like to make a suggestions
In order to actually add a advantage of playing at "home" why not let the "home" player choose the match type Just a thought... |

Hey Guys,
Beasty here I think it would be better to make smaller leagues and thus shorter seasons. Anyone here play Hattrick? kind of like that ... 8 wrestlers in first division ... 8 in second division and so on in any event ... OF COURSE our beloved maker of fermented cabbage juice would LOOOOOOOVE to join ooh, and I agree with the suggestion of usuf |

Thorondor 2381. I know hattrick yes, but that would limit the League to 16 wrestlers, while 10 or 12 means you can have 20 or 24. |
