Thread: My opinion on somethings.... (please take a second and read)

Okay I know i'm not alone in saying this... But I feel everyone who was (Is) a mod on this game for the most part got delt on... It was purely lame. All they did was dedicate time from there lives to help make this gaem better. I for one supported all mods, I went out of my way to, because I feel they deserved to be treated with respect. and they wern't. I think (just an opinion) if the mods come back they should have a sub account just for that, so they can injoy the game as well... and by that I mean like if they donate a fourth account, and if they don't a second. and have it be like mod 1 mod 2 and so on... or something to that affect....just so it stay anonymous. thats just an idea... at any rate every one who plays this game, new old what ever should learn to respect each other... after all we all play this game for fun, and maybe a small excape from the reality of life... name calling and such is just childish...

That's actually a very good idea.

Hmm agreed. Although I suspect the mod account would be a non-playing account.

ie having an extra MOD wrestler, but one that can not really fight in battles. You could then put on his Wrestler Stats just the text Official VOW Moderator.

That way people could also check if a person claiming to be a Mod would in fact be one.

could create a bunch of problems though

We've allready had several people impersonating other players - without too much difficulty. Whats to stop them from impersonating a mod game-account?

(This refers to naming the mod-accounts "mod1" or similar)

what if it was on same account, but just a 4th wrestler with no AP or AP gain. with a name like ModJim or whatever is chosen. Is it possible to have an id number set to 0? so it would be

ModJim(0)

i like the ideas, really. I think that the biggest problem with the mods was that they were players first, and mods second. it would be punishment to tell someone to not play a character that time, and in some cases money was devoted to. it created an immediate conflict of interest.

Like if instead of standered things it says in the info area it is set in to say official mod of vow... and leave it that no one knows who any of the mods are period. And it doesn't take away from there playing accounts. Like the charicter can't wrestle can't be challenged only can be messaged if thats is possible... If not then no AP availible to those charicters.

Scorp I mean that on the Wrestler Stats page there would be no
stats, moves, win records or description just an announcement in Big Letters: Official PLIT Moderator, or Official VOW Moderator.

Thus people who would go to player list and click on the Mod wrestler would see only this, they would also not be able to challenge him.

And someone trying to impersonate a mod would never be able to get the same announcement in his wrestler stats.

Maybe on the player list have the name in a certain colour (e.g. green), although this could be a disadvantage to those who are colourblind.

Using colour is a good idea... Not for those who are colour blind... Or just blind, but it would deffinatly grab the attention of people when they're on... But teh idea for having no names is so there is no pin pointing at a mod no name calling... so they can injoy the game and have there responsiblility seperate.
